FAQ
How much time do we need to set up?
Our staff will arrive around 30-60mins before your booking time. The setup time is not included in the total booking time.
When is the best time to pay.
If full payment hasn’t been made prior to event, then payment must be paid to our staff at the start of the function.
How much space does the DJ need
Around 2 x 2 meters for the dj to have space for speakers, console and lights. Please provide a table and access to a power point.
Can the DJ play my own songs?
Yes. You just need to send us your song list prior to the event. If you have any specific remixes or ethnic music requests, you can provide this for us on a USB
Does the DJ play song requests from my guests?
The guests can request songs and we will do our best to play them providing we have the songs in our database. However it is up to the DJ’s discretion to make sure the requests are appropriate to play.
Can you stay longer than what was originally planned?
Providing we don’t have another job to get to, we can stay back longer. Payment must be paid before we continue the overtime
Can the we setup outside?
Yes we can, providing we are under full shelter and we have close access to power.
Terms and Conditions:
Payments
By paying a deposit , the hirer is agreeing to the Terms & Conditions. A deposit is necessary to secure the time and date. Until a deposit is received, the date will not be confirmed. The balance must be paid 14 days before the event, unless agreed otherwise.
Cancellations
Deposit’s are non refundable. If the event is cancelled, the deposit can be used for a future booking, within a 6 month period.
Refunds
Customers are not entitled to a partial or full refund if they are simply not happy how the we performed at your event. However, we take feedback very seriously and we will do our best to reach a fair outcome to satisfy both parties.
Delivery & Setup
No discounts are given if our staff is running late due to difficulty of access into the venue. To avoid delays, please ensure a close car space is arranged for our staff to unload and park.
Use of images
When hiring from DJ Entertainment Melbourne, the hirer gives permission for images to be used for promotional and advertising purposes, unless advised prior. We will not use images which are deemed unsuitable on our website or for advertising and will not use any content that may be personally damaging to any person/s.
Misbehaviour
The client takes full responsibility of the behaviour of themselves and all their guests at their event, regardless if they are invited or not. Our staff will not tolerate any form of misbehaviour such as physical, verbal or intimidating actions. Our staff will shutdown if we are subjected to such behaviour until the matter has been resolved. If the matter has not been resolved in a timely manner, then our staff will pack down equipment and leave the premises. No Refund will be given as our staff have the right to work in a safe environment
